Michelle is a South London girl at heart but has lived as far away as the Northern Territory and Western Australia and Torquay in Devon. She started her working life on a course learning to type on an old fashioned typewriter. She also learned shorthand and basic bookkeeping, which took her to her first job in an accountancy practice, where she learned payroll and improved her bookkeeping skills.
She has worked in a number of different places; a car leasing company, an antiques wholesaler, Imperial College, London, Mobil Oil Company, an electrical contractors firm and Keyte & Co Accountants where she fine-tuned her bookkeeping skills to include VAT returns.
Michele joined Roger Lugg & Co as part of the merger with Keyte & Co on a part time basis and continues to provide the same service of bookkeeping, VAT returns and payroll to the previous Keyte and Co clients. Having impressed the staff with her abilities and rapport with clients the firm has now persuaded her to expand her role to provide this service to other clients on a full time basis Back in Croydon, now that her children are at University, she spends any disposable time making a mess paper crafting, whilst listening to heavy rock, or curled up on the sofa on a Saturday evening with her husband, watching a good movie.
