Rob graduated from Swansea University with a 2:1 in Sports and Exercise Science in 2012, three months before starting at Roger Lugg & Co where he began training to become a Chartered Accountant.
The team at Roger Lugg & Co try and make working for the firm enjoyable and in Rob’s words, “Everybody here is so friendly and has made me feel welcome from the day that I started and have really helped me to develop and improve in my career”. He is now approaching full qualification and beginning to take more senior roles in audits and dealing with more complex accounting and tax issues.
Outside of work he is extremely active playing a lot of sport. He plays Rugby to a high standard and tries to avoid coming into work on a Monday with black eyes and cauliflower ears, although broke his ankle in the first month he started. He plays golf, tennis, squash, goes running and plays five a side football. When he is not playing sport, he enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, seeing as much live music and sport as he can with friends and occasionally, very occasionally, has a beer or two.
